Blind,
But I can see.
Bound in darkness,
Light won't set me free.
Ignorance,
The purest bliss.
You'll never know,
What you think you missed.
Poppies,
The sweetest flowers.
Stay a while,
And lose the hours.
Sleep,
Right through the dawn.
Numb to everything,
That is going wrong.
Light,
Suns' rays, moons' beams.
I don't care anymore,
For what I've seen.
But I can see.
Bound in darkness,
Light won't set me free.
Ignorance,
The purest bliss.
You'll never know,
What you think you missed.
Poppies,
The sweetest flowers.
Stay a while,
And lose the hours.
Sleep,
Right through the dawn.
Numb to everything,
That is going wrong.
Light,
Suns' rays, moons' beams.
I don't care anymore,
For what I've seen.
Interesting how a poem about knowledge can be inspired by a Black Sabbath song about cocaine, isn't it?
